Louis Vuitton Fall 2012
Well known for their luxury leather goods, Louis Vuitton never fails at creating a beautifully crafted piece of luggage. However, what caught my eye the most in this line was not the murse (man purse) or the greasy Wall St./American Psycho slick-back hair. It was the shoes. Oh the SHOES. Kim Jones definitely made up for those ghastly sandals from Spring 2012, and now we can all sleep at night knowing these babies are replacing them for Fall. Jones added some “shine” to LV by throwing in a few heinously blinding silver & white coats, attaching silver spear pins to berets and suffocating scarves, as well as using reflective yarn in suits and blazers.
Inspiration: Antonio Lopez and Paris in the 70’s. Luxury. Riches. Wealth.

Junya Watanabe Fall 2012
One of my all time favorite menswear designers put together another unforgettable show for Fall 2012. With inspiration taken from the Farmer’s Market, the patchwork, fabrics, patterns, and colors from Watanabe’s Spring 2012 line will merge with ease into his latest Fall 2012. Polished parkas, overalls, braces, and the perfect hem make up one of the most original, and beautifully made, ready-to-wear lines yet.
